A three part rotation through the divisions of NASCAR Productions' media library which houses the world's largest collection of NASCAR event footage from present day all the way back to when cars still raced on the actual beach in Daytona. Production Intern (June ‘13 - August ‘13)
I produced videos in Starbucks and YMCA parking lots from Washington state to Delaware, out of the back of a (sometimes moving) Sprinter van. I was also in charge of managing and organizing all media and delivering it to news outlets as well as running the YouTube page as a part of Above+Beyond's Million Dollar Marathon. The event lasted 42 days, featuring over 160 cancer-survivors and caregivers who ran connecting marathons from the Pacific to the Atlantic.
Production Intern (January ‘13 - April ‘13)
Part of my semester abroad in London, this exciting internship had me working for a small production house in the middle of Soho. My duties included everything from picking up lunch, making tea, and doing the shop to editing cut-downs and trailers virtually autonomously and running b camera on shoots.

Honors Semester Abroad in London
Four months in one of the most exciting cities in the world. I lived in student flats with my classmates in the center of it all- five minutes from the British Museum. I interned with a high level of autonomy at a small production house in Soho. I capped off my experience with a month of backpacking Europe. I want to go back.
National Geographic Student Expeditions
From the pearly-white beaches of the Whitsundays to the iron-rusted ochres of the Outback to the vibrant greens of the cloud forests of Mindo to the chilly Pacific waters of the Galápagos, my trips with National Geographic rewarded me with several unforgettable experiences- all before I turned 18.
In Australia in 2009, I camped in the Outback, sailed on a retired racing boat, and learned how to be a photographer from Ulla Lohmann, a shooter for NatGeo France. In Ecuador in 2010, I had the chance to swim with and photograph sea lions in the Galápagos as well as work with biologist and filmmaker Greg Marshall, inventor of Crittercam.
The expeditions featured students from across the country along with multiple international students from Japan, Canada, and Hong Kong. Each of us produced an "On Assignment" project as the culmination of our experience- a photo story, article, or even short doc.
Limoges Partner Cities Basketball Tournament
For a week in April 2010, I accompanied the Charlotte Cougars, a team of 22 local high school basketball players to participate in an international tournament in France as the team photographer.
